Rise of the Golems - 1

kadabraRise of the Golems
Page one of Rise of the Golems. ROG takes place in the Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon universe, although it has no direct relation to the games. No canon characters appear, although many canon locations from the manga, anime, and main games play a heavy role.
ROG tells the story of a Chimchar named Azura. She wakes up in a cave in the middle of the mountains and has no idea why she is there, or why she is certain that she wasn't always a Chimchar. Like many of the protagonists in the games she eventually joins the rescue guild in her quest to learn the truth of her origins.
This is my first time doing anything manga-style, although it is read left-to-right instead of right-to-left. It's just more comfortable for me to draw in that style. I'll upload the cover page when I'm finished.
On a non-art-related note, I have only eleven days until I leave for Philadelphia to meet Zam, the RPer of an Alakazam that my Kadabra OC fancies. We also seem to fancy one another. Oh my. :x
